Taking on the Pacific Crest Trail!
Vinura Perera, Machine Learning Engineer at OCTAVE, shares his experience on how people at the Group encouraged him to take on the 4,200KM hike
“Everyone at OCTAVE encouraged me to pursue my dream of hiking the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) – a treasured pathway through some of the most outstanding scenic terrain in the United States. This 4200KM long hike takes on average five and a half months to complete, and I made it to the Canadian boarder by foot in 160 days. I am proud to be part of an organisation that encourages extra activities that are important to its employees such as myself.”
